Remember waiting in anticipation for the next release of your favorite comic book?

We wanted to capture that feeling and the excitement with this vintage Swatch.

This Swatch watch comes in a reusable tin box filled with miniature toys and candy.
You will receive the world’s smallest Etch-a-Sketch, a replacement clear plastic band to fit your Swatch (for when you are ready to change the look a little), and a variety of candies to take you back to a more carefree time and place.

The Golden Wave is quintessential oxymoronic Swatch, with an unconventionally stylish twist to simple and classic elements. Done entirely in glossy gold and clear, it could be called monochromatic, but it plays with light and bends it from every angle. The crystal has a magnifying center, and the golden dial shines through the large / full-size (34mm x 39mm) clear case at every angle. This continues to the gold wave pattern stretch bracelet, that with only one color and finish, dances in the light with its gentle undulations.

SWATCH THE WORLD

When Swatch launched in 1983, the Swiss watch industry was in crisis, low cost overseas models had come to dominate the market.  Swatch, under the direction of Nicolas Hayek, transformed the watch to a statement of artistic expression.  Using the latest quartz technology and utilizing lower-cost manufacturing, the strategy took the market by storm and in a new direction. Suddenly, watches were no longer precious items that were carefully considered investments, but the hottest accessory where there was a frenzy to acquire every edition.  It was Swatch that opened the door for what is now called the “Fashion Watch”.
